It is believed that Music garlic was brought to Canada from Italy during the 1980s. This porcelain-type garlic was named for Al Music, a tobacco farmer-turned garlic grower who introduced the variety to Canada. It has a sturdy, long and vibrant flower stalk, with enormous bulbs wrapped in white skin, often with a pink or purplish hue. These bulb wrappers tend to be very thick, like parchment, and tightly cover this garlic's few but large cloves. Usually 4-8 per bulb.  NOTE: Each Garlic variety in our selection is limited to a 20 lb inventory (per variety) so please be mindful when ordering.
